Confirm the terminal first
A cruise city may have several terminals spread across the port. Check the final terminal assignment in your cruise documents before paying for parking or choosing a hotel.
Compare two complete routes
Route one is an official port car park plus a nearby hotel. Route two is a hotel package that includes parking and a terminal transfer. Compare the total price, transfer steps, opening hours and cancellation terms.
Ask where the car will stay
For third-party or hotel parking, confirm the actual parking location, insurance, key policy and return procedure. A low headline price is less useful if the car is moved or the terminal transfer is unclear.
Keep embarkation morning simple
Allow time for breakfast, checkout, luggage and traffic. Confirm whether a shuttle must be reserved or whether the hotel can arrange a taxi to the exact terminal.
